Emily Shepherd

Emily has been working as a professional photographer for over 20 years, and continues to expand and grow creatively inside an ever-evolving industry.

Her career began within The University of Adelaide, specialising in agricultural research and scientific photography. After years of successfully managing the University’s photographic and multimedia department, she decided it was time to spread her wings and pursue her freelance dream.

Over the years, Emily’s creative images have received many awards at the Australian Institute of Professional Photography state level. She has been an active judge for local camera and photographic clubs, and has served as a mentor for students studying professional photography.

Today, she operates Studio e Creative - specifically created to provide the McLaren Vale wine industry with high quality, communicative and professional images and design services. Her commercial photographs appear in numerous publications.

Living and working in McLaren Vale has supplied Emily with a unique insight into the heart of the wine industry. She has been contributor to many local group exhibitions, and her images can often be seen adorning the walls of local businesses in an effort to create awareness and intrigue into our beautiful South Australian wine regions.
